Built on an undulating well-draining site, with far-reaching views over the Medway towns and Estuary, Upchurch River Valley has matured into one of Kent’s premier Pay and Play courses with Greens that are a pleasure to play all year round. The well-draining nature of the site means that the courses are very rarely closed and buggies and trolleys are made available throughout the year.

North CourseMoeilijke en uitdagende baan.
Op veel holes heb je blinde slagen en bij onbekendheid van de baan is het vaak zoeken waar de bal terecht is gekomen.
Er is veel hoog gras, waardoor precisie in je slagen een vereiste zijn.
De baan is vrij heuvelachtig, maar gelopen met draagtas binnen 4 uur.
Wat wel opviel dat er veel plastic rondslingert op de baan.
Op de teeboxes liggen veel gebroken tees van hout en plastic.
Dit geldt op alle banen die ik in Engeland heb gespeeld.
Zet op iedere teebox een cup, zodat gebroken tees hier in gedeponeerd kunnen worden.
Een member van deze baan gaf aan dat niemand deze tees opruimt.
9 Hole South Course Par 36North Course9 Hole Academy CourseAlways open when other courses in the area are closed due to the weather. They are always working hard to improve the course. Always enjoy playing here.

North CourseFirst visit to this course in a few years. Course in excellent condition, fairways well manicured, greens faster than before and very true. Warm welcome as always from one of the 2 brothers that built and own the course. Excellent breakfast and 3 course meal afterwards, with attentive staff. All in all a great day.

9 Hole South Course Par 36
9 holesThe newest of the courses at Upchurch, with its signature par 5 8th Hole of 623 yards it is no pushover, built on flatter terrain than its big brother it is maturing into one of Kent’s Premier 9 hole Courses.
North Course
18 holesThe 18 Hole North Course now a par 72 and 27 years old has matured into a real test for all levels of golfer.
9 Hole Academy Course
9 holesThe 9 Hole Academy Course Par 33 features 6 par 4’s and 3 par 3’s with its sloping greens and narrow tree-lined fairways. It is possibly our prettiest course but far from the easiest.
