Kent is a county in South East England and is famous for its white chalk cliffs. Since the Channel Tunnel was finished, it is now also connected to the French department of Pas-de-Calais. Because of its relative abundance of fruit-growing orchards and hop gardens, Kent is also known as The Garden of England. Its direct connection with Continental Europe through the Channel Tunnel, has made Kent quite a popular golf destination for golfers from France, Germany and the Benelux.
