Beau parcours avec un beau final fleuri.

Goed onderhouden “ parkbaan “ prima holes om te spelen. Als je in buurt bent, zeker de moeite waard om een keer te spelen. Vriendelijke staff!

Ok, so what to say. Fota Island. First of all I dont understand the big differences in rating as the three 18 hole courses are the 3 different configurations possible when 3 times 9 holes are available. But putting that aside. It is a beautifull course in very well maintained surroundings. Greenfees 120 are on the steep side but sometimes deals are online available. So we ended up paying 84 euro. The course itself. Hilly but not too. Fairways wide enough to boost confidence and overall pretty fast play. Water comes into play in the middle part of the round. Bunkers are very well positioned as I found myself visiting quit a few on this round. But I came out fairly easy which is not a given with my game. One big let down though. The proshop is very very well equipped. About 250 m2 equpment and clothing. Here it comes.. Men Only! Hah.. My wife and I like to roam the proshops. But 250 m2 men only? Really come on guys.. 21st century…can and must do better. that has put a major dent in the rating.

Nous sommes partis pour faire un voyage golfique en Irlande. Nous avons débarque du bateau qui relie Roscoff à Cork, et 2 heures plus tard, nous voici sur le parcours de Deer park.

Les fairways sont larges, pas stressants, les bunkers sont bien placés autour des greens et quelques trous d eau rendent quelques Par 3 interressants.

Les greens sont en très bon état, pas très roulants et la pluie qui est tombée pendant notre partie les a encore ralenti.

Le restaurant est très bien et les prix ne sont pas excessifs.

En résumé, une bonne partie, sans relief.
