Non-links courses don’t usually excite me, but I’ll make an exception here. I’m not entirely sure how to categorize this course—a mix of links, parkland, and heathland. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Playing on a sunny, windless day certainly enhanced the experience. The course offers some very nice, challenging holes, with the seaside ones being particularly stunning. The staff were incredibly welcoming, though I didn’t have time to check out the clubhouse.
