Brilliant course... really well designed and spread-out, hard to wipe the grin from my face even though I struggled earlier in the round but once I relaxed and enjoyed the amount of water you had to avoid at times it did add a dynamic you don't get very often looking over water teeing off.. Just brilliant.. If I had the money would play many more times a year and certainly rate at the top of the list of the best courses I've ever played.

Plain course just outside Christchurch, near the airport. Course in good condition, home of some lpga tournaments. Fun to play. Rented good Titleist club.

Clearwater's 18 hole championship golf course is centerpiece to the resort and is the home of the NZPGA Championship ( a co-sanctioned event between the PGA Tour of Australaisia and US PGA Nationwide Tour). Playable year-round, the course is set amongst extensive lakes and clear flowing streams, with uninterrupted views of the spectacular Southern Alps. With a choice of five tee positions it can be both challenging yet enjoyable for players of all levels. A public driving range, the Golf Shop and a restaurant and bar are also available.
