Royal Bled

Ein Platz vom Feinsten, es gibt nichts zum aussetzen. Trotz extremer Hitze eine perfekt gepflegte Anlage. Trotz des hohen Preis muss man hier spielen, den der Course kann sich mit den Besten in Europa messen.

Finally. I found the time to visit this European golf treasure. Coming to Royal Bled is very special from 1st moment you will arrive. First of all the nature around is magnificent, beautiful Alps and awesome lake with castle. Once you pass the parking gate you feel like king so no surprise its Royal golf club. Big paved parking lot shaded with trees. Clubhouse fitting nicely in local architecture, everything polished to last detail. Going to reception you are not lost great signs and easy navigation everywhere. Now the checking process. I felt welcome, appreciated and treated like member. Received visitor package with great explanation from front manager, who showed me around, how it works in locker room how I open my locker. And you know what there was my name on it. Locker rooms there they look better that many people living room. With free fruits and comfy couch. I could not miss this time the driving range, it look like I imagine driving for professional players. Nice piles of balls with aiming sticks free to use, tees and stands for bag. So overall experience awesome. Now to the main part, golf course. Unlucky I could not play big course since there was big tournament, but played the Lake course and have to admit, that is the best 9 holes I ever played. Perfect greens, with nice true roll. Holes with sharp edges. Tee boxes with flat surface cut as good as fairways. One would say that 9 holes courses are always for begginer players, but not here. Even this part of resort is quite challenging. I enjoyed every hole, particularly I would say the last one with small lake in play. Finishing my game going to this locker room to refresh and ready to drive back home. Already knowing I have to come back to play big course and stay in hotel to have FULL experience of this well know gem in Slovenia. Thank you for hospitality, worth every penny spend there.

Magnifique parcours manucuré dans un très bel environnement calme. Accueil digne des très grands golfs. Parcours pas particulièrement difficile hormis quelques passages d’eau et la longueur de certains trous. Les greens sont diaboliques car très rapides et très travaillés avec plusieurs plateaux.

Amazing experience, world class one of a kind reception by the staff, pro shop and locker room top notch Driving range magnificent, what a views 🇸🇮 Very nice variation in type of holes, greens are challenging, bunkers are in great condition, we found it not so easy to find every time the next teebox as the signing/ direction markers are missing on several holes, no waiting times so you can play at your pace, average level of players at Royal Bled is quite good The roughs are unplayable as the grass is quite thick and high, so better play on fairways all the time.

Il percorso King del Royal Bled Golf è campo di altissimo livello, senza compromessi. Un campo da championship vero, elegante, impegnativo, ma mai pretenzioso. Il tracciato è ampio, molto curato e disegnato in modo classico. Dal tee serve precisione, ma non ti senti mai soffocato. I fairway sono generosi il giusto, i bunker sono tanti e sempre ben piazzati, pronti a punire chi gioca senza un’idea chiara. I green sono grandi, veloci e tecnici: qui la differenza la fa l’approccio. Il contesto è spettacolare. Le Alpi sullo sfondo accompagnano tutto il giro e danno una sensazione di calma e solidità che pochi campi hanno. È uno di quei posti dove anche il ritmo di gioco rallenta naturalmente. La manutenzione è impeccabile, probabilmente tra le migliori che abbia mai trovato in Europa. La club house è elegante, in stile inglese, perfettamente coerente con il carattere del campo. Il King Course di Royal Bled non cerca effetti speciali. È golf puro, di classe, che ti resta addosso per la qualità dell’esperienza, non per una singola buca. Uno di quelli che contano davvero.
