Riva Toscana Golf Resort & SPA

Extremely disappointing experience at RIVA Golf Club. We booked a tee time one day before an official Italian bank holiday and received a confirmation email (2 weeks before the actual playing date) from the club clearly stating our tee time and confirming that we could play with Golfamore. When we arrived, we were suddenly told that Golfamore was not valid because of the holiday. Apparently, the confirmation from the club itself meant nothing. Interestingly, we were still welcome to play if we paid the full green fee. That says it all. Out of principle, we refused. Customers should be able to trust the information and confirmations provided by a golf club. What made the situation even worse was the attitude of the caddiemaster, who was unhelpful, inflexible, and showed no willingness whatsoever to take responsibility for the club’s mistake or find a reasonable solution. A wasted trip, a complete lack of customer service, and an experience that left a very bad impression. Thanks for nothing. Needless to say, we will never return and cannot recommend this club to others.

We had the pleasure of spending a very enjoyable stay last week at Riva Toscana Golf Resort & Spay The entire team is very welcoming and does everything possible to make the stay enjoyable. The rooms are well-equipped and very quiet. The course is technical, the holes are well-maintained, and each one is unique.

parcours très mal entretenu. impossible de planter les tees de départ . l'herbe est trop haute et les tees ne peuvent se planter que difficilement. les greens sont en mauvais état. bref un parcours à éviter malgré de belles vues mer de la majorité des trous.

Gezien alle beoordelingen hadden wij niet al te hoge verwachtingen van de baan, maar het viel alles mee. De baan lag er prima bij en er zijn inderdaad kale plekken in de baan (zeker hole 15), maar daar hadden wij niet al te veel hinder van. De greens waren prima, redelijk snel. Wel zijn er een aantal bunkers met stenen, waar je echt met je clubs niet uit wilt slaan. Al met al niet een heel uitdagende baan, maar zeker wel heel relaxed spelend. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk, wij werden goed geholpen. Onze ervaringen met het restaurant/clubhuis zijn ook goed, we werden vriendelijk en snel geholpen.

Vanwege een dubbele boeking konden we niet terecht op Tuscana golf ondanks reservering in maart jl. Derhalve uitgeweken naar deze baan. Het was de omweg niet waard ondanks ligging, uitzicht en lay-out. Alleen de greens waren perfect maar een beetje traag.
