Golf Club La Monacilla

Monacilla golfclub is een wat ruigere baan. Het rijden in een buggy wordt bemoeilijkt door de slecht onderhouden beton paden, vol gaten en oneffenheden. De baan zelf is leuk om te spelen en is niet al te moeilijk. De fairways zijn droog en dor en de greens zijn snel, de bunkers zijn prima onderhouden. De ontvangst is vriendelijk. Kortom een leuke baan om eens te spelen

In interesting course. first 2 holes with some appartements around, but then into nature. The course looked a bit dry and arid, but well playable. Easy to walk and not to difficult, so all handicaps can have a nice round. 4x PAR3 ( av 160m) 10x PAR4 ( av 344), 4x PAR5 ( av 462m). No drink service available, so take enough with you during the round. a nice clubhouse for a beer, unfortunately, kitchen was closed, no reason given.

The region and the club have suffered from the hot weather and it shows on the facilities, but the course played quite well and was in good condition in april. The driving range is large but the balls were very bad. The chipping and putting area near the first tee is perfect for warming up and getting to know the greens. The course itself is nice but not special, winding through the woods with some narrow fairways and some elevation changes (but limited). The greens were near perfect, the fairways were ok and we liked the challenge offered. We played this course as part of a golf holiday, and price/quality wise it is certainly a good option (we were staying in Portugal where GF's are generally higher!).

Banan var i bra skick efter det myckna regnandet. Jämna och välklippta tees, bra fairways och ganska snabba greener med bra rull. Några ganska långa promenader mellan vissa hål men å andra sidan är banan ganska platt.
