Richings Park Golf & Country Club

C est un club qui de prime abord est très beau et dans un cadre plutôt sympa. Par contre, les conditions de jeux ne m ont pas plus. Je m attendais à un peu plus d attention (cf la photo des clubs loué 20£, sale, abîmé, du matériel de débutant au practice. J ai été obligé de changer le putter). Le parcours est très sec sauf les Greens qui sont parfaits. Enfin, ce qui est terrible c est les détritus que l on rencontre tout au long du parcours. J ai ramassé un râteau, un vieux chariot et bon nombre de déchets. Très décevant.

Ik werd prima ontvangen, huursetje was vrij nieuw, maar wel van een B-merk (Masters?), maar al met al prima.

Het is nog steeds erg droog in europa, dus ook dez efairways waren lekker bruin. Wel hadden ze het goed gedaan om de greens zacht (en groen) te houden, dus de baan was zeker speelbaar. Zoals wel meerdere oudere engelse golfbanen. Geen lange baan, maar een prettig ontwerp.

Mooiste hole was waarschijnlijk de korte par3 zesde hole. We zitten hier vlak bij Heathrow airport, dus er vlogen veel vliegtuigen langs, maar mij stoorde dat allerminst. De driving range is prima, maar het clubhuis miste mijn inziens sfeer. Maar qua prijs/kwaliteit verhouding zeker een bezoek waard.

Played here once on a warm day. Course is nice, not too demanding - no water but some well placed bunkers.

Very friendly people and nice club house atmosphere.

Played here 2 days. Very good spacious practice areas, including long putting area with up/down hill elements. Good spacious driving area as well. Not too much of a difficult golf course despite a lot of strategically placed bunkers. The only downside is that the clubs for hire are of very poor quality. That had a big impact on my 2 rounds of golf unfortunately. Very friendly people and nice club house atmosphere. On Saturday it was very busy with constant waiting time due to multiple flights waiting at every hole. Sunday though there was hardly anyone.

Lovely place for a round of golf. The abundance of water is a perfect habitat for mosquitos feasting on our blood; other than that, a great atmosphere in the clubhouse to enjoy after a pleasant round on a park course close to the office.
