Thorney Park Golf Club

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The make you feel welcome. The greens are very well maintained when I was there. And the quality of the greens is great too. I had a hard time figuring them out though as their are a lot of slopes in the greens. The club rental set was a joke. I paid more for the rental set than for the round of golf which I found interesting. Take a look at the putter that I got for 35€. The holes are challenging and fun. I'd liked the back 9 more as it was a nice set up. The fairways took a beating due to the dry weather in the summer but where doable. Their is a lot of maintance being done at the course. Hole 15 or 16 is completely shit as the are two massive construction holes right in the middle of the fairway. All in all you get what you paid for I guess. The staff is nice though which softens the feeling.
