Golf Club Vuissens

Parcours varié avec du dénivelé. Les premiers trous demandent de la précision. Les roughs de type links étaient heureusement secs et clairsemés avec la canicule. Beaucoup de trous favorisent les gros frappeurs. Greens très bien entretenus et très rapides.

Very pleasant course, just challenging enough to keep you focused. The restaurant is worth a visit even if you're not playing.

Gorgeous golf course but, as usual, typically swimming with those who have all the right gear and no idea. Course itself is exceptionally well maintained and is somewhat challenging off the back tees. Greens terribly slow. But really a very nice and picturesque course! Not a world ranked course but top five to me in Switzerland (i.e., trip advisor - not world(!) - rankings). Not my first time there... today, we were lucky to play on not(?) such a busy day... and despite the usual pomp and ceremony of anyone daring to ask to play on a Swiss golf course, we were off... only to be stuck behind a group of three (they were members)... watching their pitch and putt for almost five hours (and no one in front). My friend and I, playing in a two, are off single figures (members of top ten world 100 ranked courses (i.e., not trip advisor courses))... so, it sadly just ruins it. But, best was the four (also members and pretend players) cutting in on the 18th tee while we were still waiting on the amazing three... and they questioned why it was annoying... and abused us for wondering what in the hell they were doing? Hilarious! Golf etiquette does not exist in Switzerland but very slow oblivious and rude expectant play does! No offence to Vuissens - was beautiful - but maybe try to teach colourful trouser wearing Ferrari drivers a new trick or too... marshals? Etiquette handbook? Or maybe respect?
