Nefyn & District Golf Club

Wat een locatie voor een golfbaan! Enorm genoten om deze baan te spelen op een werkelijk schitterende dag, met een klein beetje wind en veel zon. Kleine oefen faciliteiten maar volstaan prima, de baan was in super mooi conditie en de greens waren echt geweldig!! De point was niet open helaas vanwege het vakantie hoogseizoen maar de andere 18 holes maakte dit ook een soort van overbodig. Er is veel ruimte in de baan met mooie hoogte verschillen en prachtige uitzichten, je moet goed kijken waar je kunt missen maar er zijn veel mogelijkheden.

This was a beautiful day on a beautiful golfcourse. Something I will remember for a long time. The views on the first 5 holes are Amazing over the sea and it can be difficult with the wind. The greens were really good and had a fair roll on it. Value for money, this is the best course i’ve played.

Visiting Nefyn was an experience I won’t easily forget. The almost constant views of the Irish Sea are absolutely amazing. Already the first tee shot let’s you hit straight towards it, with the next four holes running right next to the sea. These holes are unique and worth the visit in itself. As the other holes are higher up than the ones near the sea the views will keep going the entire round. The cliffs in the distance are stunning and will provide many a picture opportunity. Layout and maintenance were also on point. Holes are varied and greens were very quick. Unfortunately the Point was closed as it is used as a path towards the beach. We played the 18 holes championship course. This one really doesn’t disappoint. If you have a chance to come play Nefyn, do! This is a unique golfcourse!

Played 9 holes on the point and 18 on the Championship. Outstanding presentation with the most spectacular views I have ever seen as a backdrop just perfect. Made to feel very welcome could not have been more impressed. So goodI have applied for membership.

Deze baan ligt direct aan de kust boven op de rotsen. Mooi uitzicht gegarandeerd. De baan was ondanks de vele hoogte verschillen niet extreem moeilijk. We hadden ook geluk dat er voor een links baan niet al te veel wind stond. Met veel wind is het een andere verhaal. De 18 hole course is een volwaardige baan die te lopen is. goede fairways en niet te hoge roughs. De greens zijn goed onderhouden en snel. Een plezier om te spelen. Een mooi clubhuis vol met traditie en een goed terras om over de baan te kijken. Dan is er ook nog een 8 holes course. Deze kun je beter wel met een buggy spelen. Dit is een heel uitdagende course met bijzonder holes. Allemaal op een hoge landpunt waardoor het lijkt of je linke en rechts de zee in kunt slaan. Deze lus moet je gewoon als afsluiter van de 18 holes baan spelen nadat je eerst van een pint in het clubhuis hebt genoten na de 18 holes.
