Real Golf La Manga Club - West CourseReal Golf La Manga Club - North CourseHired Golf clubs, clubs at least 10 years old, grips all worn and generally a really poor standard. Considering the cost of hire €57 per round the standard has to be better, totally let the experience down.
Real Golf La Manga Club - South CourseReal Golf La Manga Club - North CourseBoth North and South were in very good condition. Played as a single player and did not get held up at all. West course is closed at the moment as extensive remedial work was being carried out.

Real Golf La Manga Club - South CourseOntvangst was warm en vriendelijk, ook de caddiemaster was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het was vrij druk en allemaal flights van 4 ballen voor ons, wat ik persoonlijk niet echt zo top vind want dan geraak je makkelijker uit je golfspel, maar ja we moeten het nemen zoals is komt, misschien moeten de golfclubs toch eens overwegen om de tijd tussen de verschillende flights te vermeerderen, 10 of 12 minuten i.p.v. 8 minuten. Want als je geen snelle golfer voor je hebt, die alle 4 verschillende oefenswings maken en bij het putten ruim hun tijd nemen, sta je echt op alle holes te wachten. De T-boxen waren allemaal in perfecte staat en goed aangegeven, ook de fairways, mooi groen en goed onderhouden, de greens waren ook perfect maar helemaal niet snel, we zijn dit in Spanje wel anders gewend, het was dus aanpassen. Persoonlijk vind ik La Manga wel één van de mooiste golfcourses in de Costa Blanca, 3 mooie golfparcours, wij hebben ze nu alle drie gespeeld en vinden de North de mooiste, de South is ook mooi maar vrij vlak tegenover de twee andere golfparcours, dus mijn voorkeur gaat zeker uit naar de South Course. Ook de hoofdgolfshop is echte een top winkel. Maar het was zalig golfweer en een mooie golfbaan dus gewoon weer een zalige golfdag !!

18 holesDe South Course is de locatie geweest voor vele grote professionele toernooien, waaronder diverse Spaanse Opens, PGA Championships en European Tour qualifying schools. Een lange baan, bijna 6.500 meter vanaf de witte tees, met waterhindernissen op 15 van de 18 holes en weinig verborgen gevaren. De voorste negen zijn bijzonder uitdagend met twee par 3's van meer dan 200 meter en enkele ontmoedigende par 4's, die vragen om nauwkeurig rijden tussen meren en bunkers. De achterste negen, hoewel korter, heeft een aantal intrigerende dog-leg holes.

18 holesDe West Course, met zijn frequente hoogteverschillen, biedt een andere reeks uitdagingen. De voorste negen vragen om nauwkeurig rijden om de 'barrancas' (natuurlijke stormgeulen) te vermijden, terwijl de achterste negen, tussen de heuvels, opener maar niettemin uitdagend zijn. De 18e is een geweldige finale op de West Course. Het prachtige uitzicht vanaf de tee is altijd iets om naar uit te kijken en omdat de tee heel hoog boven de fairway ligt, staat de wind altijd klaar om zijn rol te spelen." Nigel Mansell, voormalig wereldkampioen Formule 1.

18 holesPalmbomen, meren en natuurlijke stormgeulen die bekend staan als 'barrancas' zijn de belangrijkste kenmerken van de noordelijke baan, die iets korter is dan de zuidelijke, met strakkere fairways en grotere greens. De greens hebben veel beweging ingebouwd. Een goed voorbeeld is de tweede par 3, die drie verschillende plateaus heeft - een geweldige test voor het putten. De North Course is een strenge test voor golfers van alle niveaus, met een behendig spel op de greens.
