Alhaurín Golf Resort

We hebben hier, over de jaren heen, meerdere keren gespeeld. De baan blijft desondanks lastig in the schatten. Baan management is nodig. Veel blinde holes, wat natuurlijk vervelend is als je voorgangers langzamer zijn. Maar ook prachtige uitzichten, uitdagende afslagen, zoals hole 1 en zeker hole 6. Receptie en restaurant waren prima. Het minpunt was de kwaliteit van de buggy, meerdere holes driftend en slippend naar beneden, behoorlijk eng af en toe. We speelden met kurkdroog weer.

The golf course is in beautiful surroundings, and you have a really nice views on many holes. The course itself is really technically difficult and is mostly for really skilled players. Many blind shots you have to carry, and if you don't know the course, you have no big chance to play them successfully. Also, the quality of the greens and some fairways was poor. On the other hand, very nice staff in the pro shop, and people are really helpful and always with a smile.

Teetime: 08:00 reception opened at 07:50, in my opinion too late. The course was amazing! Beautiful mountain scenes. Great water hazards and a lot of up and down the hill. Just a great experience.

We played 6 times on 4 different courses and this one was the best price - quality wise.

The course has very nice views on the surrounding mountains. To play there you have to be technical player and think well with course management. If you play there dor the first time you will probably struggle on some holes due to some not easy blind shots from the teeboxes. Some greens would deserve more care as well as bunkers. But overally not bad course designes by Seve Ballesteros. Staff in pro shop was reall very kind and nice.
