Koninklijke Haagsche G&CC

The Koninklijke Haagsche is a course you truly experience. The beautiful dunes, rolling fairways and significant elevation changes make almost every hole different, with plenty of surprising and sometimes blind shots. It is a challenging course where you need not only your golfing skills, but also a good level of fitness. The many climbs and descents mean that by the end of the round, the lactic acid in your legs is definitely part of the experience. It is precisely this natural, undulating character that makes the Haagsche one of the most beautiful and unique golf courses of the Netherlands.

Un golf du top 100! Arrivé tôt les 2 practices sont tres pratique. Avec tracman. Le clubhouse est simplement sublime. Un des plus beau que j'ai vu. L'accueil d'un green keep très agréable m'indique où allez étant arrivé un peu tôt.. la starter a été très tres agréable souriante avec nous et nous a proposé une photo. Et a pris notre avis au retour du 18t, le parcours est incroyable l'entretien parfait malgré l'été horriblement sec cette année. Nous avons ensuite manger clubhouse sublime à l'intérieur. Et très bon. Merci pour l'expérience jm'espere avoir l'occasion de revenir

They told me: go left young man. Go left. And it’s true, in golf and at the Royal Haagsche the clue is left my friend. In all seriousness, the course is hilly and makes for a tough and nice walk. After the European scorching heat of the last weeks the fairways are getting the right attention and the greens are impeccably kept. The surroundings of the nearby village (or city) make for a calm and quiet 18 holes where even though the course is full the sights of other flights are stealthy. In the fullness of the course and the tight fairways one must stay alert for the “fore”. But eh, as a gentleman’s game the idea is to relax, walk around and enjoy the stunning views. A fantastic morning was had.

Not much of an impression to make at the start for a “royal” golf course but the caddy master was friendly and helpful. The course itself is in good condition with fast greens but every hole is pretty much non memorable/mundane. The layout is almost similar to London Golf Club but with no water hazards but MUCH less picturesque. A LOT of blind shots off the tee with almost non existent fairway markers to aim if you are a first timer. And so, more often than not, it’s a guessing game before you could hit your tee shot. Some members were quite rude by unapologetically not shouting fore when their ball flying pass me and then expecting us to let them thru when the group in front of us just teed off and haven’t rang the bell yet. Practice facilities esp. driving range in need of a lot of work too. Not worth the extortionate green fee for overseas guest of around €250

Played on a hot, windy day. Course was in excellent condition and the wind made most shots demanding. Greens not too fast but plenty of breaks to make it interesting. If you miss the green then you will have a tough shot back, fairways can also repel balls into the rough! Beautiful surroundings and clubhouse with a spectacular closing hole.
