Golf course in solid shape. Nice surrounding.

Nice surroundings for the course. as a high handicapper not the easiest course to play at.

As someone had already mentioned, this golf course was designed by Donald Harradine which designed many notable courses in Slovenia and Austria. In my opionion the course is a mixture of some very silly and some exciting holes. I'm always getting those blow-out scores on couple of those holes (notable hole 5 for one). However it seem that I am always eager to return to the course.

The course maintanance is just not to par. Especially holes 2,13 and 14.

Hole no. 1 - big drop. If you're hitting bombs you can even reach the green. If you pull it slightly to the left you're out of bounds. Great hole in my opinion.

Hole 2- boring straight par 5

Hole 3 - par 3; demanding slightly elevated green protected by bunkers

Hole 4 - short par 4, big drop, wide fairway,

Hole 5 - nonsense dogleg left hole (if that's your home club and you know every inch of the landing area you probably cut the hill to the left)

Hole 6 - scenic short par 3 -excellent hole

Hole 7 - demanding long par 4 - had some awesome drives only to finish with a double thanks to descending landing area and a treachorous area around the green

Hole 8 - blind dogleg left - very wide fw (i guess an easy one)

Hole 9 - demanding par 5 thanks to the elevated landing area of the first shot which is too short for a driver (unless you know where to aim).

Hole 10 - big drop par 3 next to the castle - excellent hole

Hole 11- even bigger drop par 4 dogleg left with a second shot over the lake

Hole 12 - narrow par 5 (field usually badly maintained)

Hole 13 - normal par 4

Hole 14 - demanding up-hill par 3

Hole 15 - short par 3 (beautiful spruce area)

Hole 16 - sand clock shaped par 4

Hole 17 - demanding uphill par 4

Hole 18 - excellent ("let it rip") finishing par 5

Scores below 80 are excellent scores. Scratch golfer doesn't stand a chance of getting 71 if he's not familirialised with a course.

In my opinion, the most difficult playing field in Slovenia, varied fields and varied.
