GC Seefeld-Wildmoos

Het belangrijkste eerst: ik heb erg genoten van mijn ronde hier. Elke hole is de moeite waard en afwisselend. Veel hoogteverschillen. Genieten! De parkeerplaats van de club is niet bij het clubhuis. Je moet nog een stukje de berg op lopen. Ik had een buggy gehuurd en die stand al bij de parkeerplaats op me te wachten, inclusief bordje met mijn naam erop. Top! Ontvangst was efficiënt. Een voucher voor een drankje is een gastvrij gebaar. Het clubhuis en de sanitaire voorzieningen zijn flink gedateerd en kunnen een opknapbeurt gebruiken. De carts hebben een scherm naar geen gps. Een gemiste kans! Nu staat er tijdens de ronde alleen maar "veel plezier" op het scherm. De fairways en paden zijn flink hobbelig. Je stuitert flink met je cart. Vooral de paden zijn in slechte conditie. Van de driving range en het restaurant heb ik geen gebruik gemaakt. Het uitzicht en de holes zijn de moeite waard. Wel vind ik de baan aan de dure kant. Sun down rate (vanaf 15:00 uur) + cart = 105 euro. Vol tarief is nog een stuk hoger. De faciliteiten moeten dan ook nog wel een stuk verbeterd worden. Wel erg genoten van mijn ronde! Holes 9 en 17 zijn spectaculair

Der Platz macht seinen Namen Wildmoos alle Ehre. Es gibt fast kein Loch, das nicht eben ist. Es geht ganz wild hoch und runter und die Investition in ein Cart ist unbedingt zu empfehlen. Der Platz ist gut gepflegt. An einigen Löchern sollte man unbedingt geradeaus spielen, oder sich schon vor dem Schlag von seinem Ball verabschieden. Schöner Platz hoch oben in den Bergen.

This is such a fun course to play. If you come from a pancake-flat-country like the Netherlands this mountain course really throws up a whole different and fun challenge. The holes run up, down, sideways, everything. They just follow the mountain. For example hole 9, a par 3 that plays down around 30 meters. For this 140m shot I choose gapwedge. Perfect club. Or the par 4 11th, where your second shot has to travel up 20 meters or so. Amazing! Next to the undulation, the layout itself is also quite varied. There’s a driveable par 4, and a 410 meter one. There’s a par 5 where you can try to cut the corner (blind) and take on the green with the second shot. The next par 5 however forces you to lay up atop a very steep downhill, before hitting it down towards some Alpine huts. All in all, such a fun course, with beautiful views. A must play!

I came back to Seefeld-Wildmoos for a quick 9 holes recently. The drive to the course and also the alpine surroundings are wonderful. I also enjoyed the course a lot again. The 3rd hole is fantastic. A roller-coaster of a golf hole. Only negative currently is the 2nd green where a large part of it is dead gras. Maybe a leftover from Winter which will be back to normal soon. Geweldige baan, prima ligging en uitdagende hoogteverschillen. Qua natuurschoon fantastisch. Deze baan verdient zeker een grote 9! U wordt niet teleurgesteld.
