A beautiful spot. The clubhouse building is a bit tacky. But the course is a lot of fun. There are also beautiful views across the sea to the snow-capped (in April) mountain peaks around Brora and Golspie. Hole No. 4, called Law Hill, is crazy. It’s a par 3! Played uphill at the end, it measures 210 yards. But there’s a nice view. The sixth hole offers a view down from the cliffs. The 16th, a par 3, is similarly playful, also played onto an elevated green. On the next hole, you drive down into the valley and back toward the clubhouse. The last four holes are played across the road. A massive hollow comes into play. If you’re not looking for a top-quality course and are searching for something “different,” then you’ve come to the right place.

Een prachtige, aan de kust gelegen baan met schitterende vergezichten. De baan is prima onderhouden en de greens zijn top. Zeer afwisselende holes met brede fairways. Er kan geen starttijd online vastgelegd worden. We waren in de buurt en zijn er naar toegegaan. We werden direct en prima geholpen.

Links en la ladera al lado de los acantilados. El campo está dividido en dos zonas y los 4 últimos hoyos se sitúan al otro lado de la carretera.

Para mi personalmente estos últimos resultan ser los mejores hoyos del campo sobretodo el 17 par 4 con salida por encima de un acantilado y el 18 buen par 3 para finalizar la ronda.

El resto del campo va transcurriendo en hoyos de ida y vuelta cuesta arriba y abajo.

Bonitas vistas al mar junto a los acantilados y en su parte mas oeste al pequeño pueblo y puerto de Findochty. En dias claros puedes llegar a ver prácticamente hasta la costa de Dornoch.

Links baan langs de Noordzee met droge harde fairways en greens. De greens zijn goed onderhouden maar niet heel snel. Desondanks is het lastig om met harde wind de bal op de green te krijgen en te houden. Belangrijk is de bal juist te plaatsen. Mooi uitzicht vanaf de baan over de rotsen kust en de baai.

De moeite waard voor een bezoek.
