Calanova Golf CourseFor starters, the Calanova Shop is beautiful. A lot of choice. But then you enter the course. Beautiful teeboxes which require you to think about the club you will use. The course was in great condition. Just a beautiful course.

Calanova Golf CourseCalanova Golf Club lag er ondanks de warme omstandigheden fantastisch bij. Een mooie, uitdagende baan met voldoende afwisseling en holes waar je echt moet nadenken over je keuzes. De greens waren vrij zacht, waardoor je ze goed kon aanvallen en de bal mooi kon laten stoppen. Het putten zelf voelde fair aan, al waren de greens naar mijn smaak eerder aan de trage kant. Het parcours was in het algemeen in uitstekende conditie en zorgde voor een heel aangename golfervaring. De warmte maakte het stevig, maar dat hoort natuurlijk een beetje bij golfen aan de Costa del Sol in augustus. Extra leuk was de flight: ik werd gekoppeld aan enkele Deense medespelers en heb me uitstekend geamuseerd. Altijd fijn wanneer een toevallige flight zo’n gezellige ronde oplevert. Een uitdagende, verzorgde baan die ik met plezier opnieuw zou spelen.

Calanova Golf CourseOverall the course is nice and except the bunkers in good shape. Golfshop is best I ever seen. Resturant has good quality of meals just needs to be renewed. Locker rooms are old and bad. Staff is very nice and always with smile.

This characteristic will allow a lot of pin positions, from tthe very simple to the most difficult ones. There are a variety of fairways layouts. All of them are wide in the ball drop areas and clear, so that the player can see the obstacles before hitting the ball. Being a sloppy terrain, every fairway is quite flat, and then players won’t have very difficult stands in order to hit the ball comfortably. Due to their shape and the different wins, they will remind you to a Link course. Tees are spread in different platforms, providing the players the possibility of playing the course with a huge variety of distances.
