About Erskine Golf Club
Erskine has stood on the banks of the River Clyde's estuary since it was founded in 1903. Measuring 6,372 yards it provides a subtle test of all facets of the game of golf. With the banks of the Clyde so near, the course features two distinct terrains, the rolling lush countryside and mature sycamore, birch and elm trees of the first eight holes and last two holes, and the flat almost links-like ground of the middle stretch of the course. The design of the course allows very few blind shots and fairways are generous, however mature trees line almost every fairway and errant shots are easily punished.

ErskineGastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid ten top, we hebben deze baan direct na aankomst in Glasgow gespeeld. Op ongeveer 10min rijden van het vliegveld ideaal dus. De baan is van goeie kwaliteit speelt relatief eenvoudig maar zeker erg fijn om te spelen. Op voorhand werden we gewaarschuwd voor de 18e hole. Een ware hel na 17 holes gelopen te hebben mag je afsluiten met een blinde shot naar boven waarde green op je wacht een echte kuitenbijter....

ErskineHeerlijke 18 holes gelopen op een prachtige zeer goed onderhouden baan. Mooi gloeiend met schitterende uitzichten. Niet al te druk en goed betaalbaar 45€ pp. Nog even wat kunnen eten na afloop.

ErskineDe golfbaan ligt net buiten Glasgow en is goed te bereiken.
De ontvangst in de shop is vriendelijk. Hier konden we na wat uitleg onze golfhaftet kaart gebruiken.
Het is werkelijk een prachtige baan met afwisselende holes. Alles ligt er ook prachtig bij. Op de faiways kun je bijna geen divot ontdekken, de afslagplaatsen zijn helemaal groen en de greens super. De parkbaan heeft wat hoogteverschillen, maar is prima te belopen.
Na afloop hebben we in het clubhuis nog na kunnen genieten van wat lekkers en kunnen genieten van het prachtige uitzicht over de golfbaan.
Een genot om hier te spelen, een echte aanrader.
