Course style: Parkland front 9 and heathland back 9 Topography: Hilly front 9 and fairly flat back 9 Best feature: The par 3 holes were all interesting with a majority of them playing significantly down or uphill making you think about club choice. Worst feature: The back 9 is nowhere near as interesting as the front 9 Condition: Fairways and greens were in good condition but the greens were fairly slow Verdict: Nice enough course to play if you are in the area on a weekday but not worth a special journey. The £80 weekend green fee also seems a little steep (only £40 with a county card after 1pm).

Disgraceful condition, burnt out tees, weeds dominating fairways, weeds growing around the clubhouse, overflowing rubbish bins, driving bay mats full of holes generally very poor condition and does not reflect the Social Media from the Club.

Hugely disappointing, speaking to some members who were very disgruntled with the state of affairs including the loss of the Professional and general dismay at the condition of the course and membership experience.
