Even though it is a private members club, visitors are also allowed to play all year round. Petersfield has two excellent courses. Petersfield Golf ClubI’m not a member but this is my local course. I’ve played here a good few times now, even shot 85 here last week.
The course is well designed, very tricky at times with a few long uphill drives and slopes fairways to make you think about your tee shot. The greens are clean and roll well.
The course offers fantastic views especially from the 12th green and 13th tee box.

Petersfield Golf Club
18 holesThe 18 hole par 72 course was designed by Martin Hawtree and measures 6,445 yards. The course is very undulating and meanders through the delightful countryside which offers outstanding views. It is built on 170 acres of sandstone beds, which affords excellent drainage. USGA designed greens, coupled with the free draining fairways, offers all-year –round –play, and a true test of golf for all levels of golfer. South Petersfield is a 12 hole pay and play, which was part of the original Petersfield Golf Club course.
