Old Thorns Golf Course & HotelPrecioso campo parkland con multitud de hoyos diferentes, tal vez demasiados dog legs que no te permiten usar el driver con tranquilidad, pares tres cortos y algún par 4 de 180mtrs. Un diseño interesante en el que destacan sus greenes, que aunque habían sido pinchados recientemente eran rapidísimos y muy complicados de poder parar la bola. El campo enclavado en un precioso bosque con muchos hoyos en los que tienes que subir y bajar, destacando la cuesta del paso del hoyo 2 al 3 que se hace dura de subir cargando tu bolsa. Un campo interesante y divertido de esos que recuerdas muchos de los hoyos que juegas por lo diferentes que son.

Old Thorns Golf Course & HotelThis is a large golf, leisure and hotel complex geared towards the package and stay/play market. The course is good, very hilly in parts and quite a challenge (certainly before you've played it a few times). Nice part of the world and a very hospitable pub just at the end of the driveway. Well worth considering for a weekend away.

Old Thorns Golf Course & HotelSuper course. Whe we played the day before thei had ProAm, so course was at ist's best.
Only critisism is that buggy's are ONLY allowed on pathways (not in the course), which makes it still a lot of walking...
