About Teignmouth Golf Club
Teignmouth Golf Club is justifiably proud of its heritage. The course was designed by the legendary Dr Alister MacKenzie and opened in 1924, some 9 years before he completed his most famous work at the Augusta National, home of the US Masters. Teignmouth’s course is situated near to the South Devon coast and, at 800 feet above sea level, it commands spectacular views of the sea and nearby moors. The 18 hole moorland links presents a great test of golf for players of all abilities. Features include six varied and challenging par 3s and no fewer than 11 two-tier greens, a true MacKenzie trademark.

Teignmouth Golf ClubClub house large and clean staff really friendly,pro shop well kitted out with friendly staff, great practice area ,the course was tuff in the conditions but in fantastic shape
Teignmouth Golf ClubThe golf course is idyllic, with views over the entire estuary on the first and many views of the moor and sea on the rest, the clubhouse is very welcoming with delicious food. I particularly liked the haddock burger! With £70 green fees for visitors it is worth teeing if after the twighlight hour to get a greatly reduced fee.

Teignmouth Golf ClubBij aankomst onvangst door de caddiemaster was fantastisch. Kregen een hele mooi uitleg over de club en baan. Dit was al positief voordat we waren begonnen.
Deze baan ligt op een hele mooie locatie boven een baai, waardoor je erg mooie vergezichten hebt over de baan en omgeving.
Baan lag er goed bij, teeboxen netjes, fairways en greens ook. Het was prima weer om te golfen tm hole 14 toen kwam de hemel naar beneden?
Maar genoten van de baan en uitzicht. De holes zijn ook gevarieerd.
In het clubhuis was de bediening ook weer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Teignmouth Golf ClubMooi compacte baan met mooie vergezichten en schitterende hei. Lay-out is afwisselend en vanaf wit nog best lang. Een echte aanrader als je in de buurt bent.

Joué en août, le parcours était en bonne santé.
Tee de départ, greens et fairways de qualité.
