GOLFCOURSE The course was designed by Kyle Phillips. The American was given every opportunity for the design to create a challenging 18-hole golf course. Thanks in part to the many challenging water features, De Lage Vuursche is a great course for club members. It also brings out the best in the top amateurs in the Netherlands, so the NGF likes to organise competitions at De Lage Vuursche. Kyle Phillips stands for quality, now and in the future. For that reason, he still makes an inspection visit to the course once a year to dot the i's every time. PRACTICE FACILITIES Excellent practice facilities are at your disposal. On the driving range, members can improve their golf game on both covered and uncovered tee-off areas. Practice balls are available on neat ball pyramids at the covered tees and on the outside grass tees. In addition to the driving range, there are two chipping greens, a putting green and a practice bunker. Here, too, practice balls are always available. Not only members, but also Dutch talents like to use De Lage Vuursche's practice facilities. This is because they can tee off from grass here, but also because of the calm and relaxed atmosphere at the Golf Club.

De Lage VuurscheZeer gastvrij ontvangst. Alles tot in de puntjes goed geregeld, lunchpakket, longest, neary en met muziek op de eerste tee voor een goede sfeer. Baan speelt lastig met het vele water maar de omgeving en de kwaliteit van het onderhoud maken dit meer dan goed. Een aanrader.

De Lage VuurscheGreat place to play a round of golf, very welcoming golf club with one of the best ranges around. The course is quite difficult, with a lot of water hazards around, so need to be carefull in selecting your tee box (don't be too ambitious) and thoughtfull in how you move around the course.
De Lage VuurscheOp een zonovergoten dag na ruim 10 jaar weer terug op De Lage Vuursche. Ontvangst is erg vriendelijk, zowel bij de receptie alsook door de caddiemaster. Vooraf de recensies gelezen: handicap halen is lastig, ga vooral genieten van de baan. En dat hebben we gedaan! Wat een prachtige baan en in een fantastische conditie. Teeboxen, fairways en greens allemaal top. Veel hindernissen, zowel bunkers als water, hetgeen precisie vereist. Door het droge weer zijn de greens erg snel: een slecht gelezen put wordt direct afgestraft. Kortom, geen eenvoudige baan inderdaad, maar wat een plezier om hier te spelen. Handicap beiden niet gelopen, maar wat een fantastische dag hebben we gehad. We komen zeker terug.
