Laguna Vilamoura

Beautiful golfcourse. The greens are very fast. B Very friendly staff. The starter was Georges and gave us a lot of information about the course. There was a buggybar. Nice golfshop. The food in the Restaurant (hamburger Hole in one) was not top.

Played Laguna today on a twilight round, staff were bright, cheerful and very helpful. The course is good, well kept and greens are quick and true, lightly sanded. Wide forgiving fairways make this course a must for the visiting golfer, you will enjoy.

Laguna course is a waterworld. Par3 9th is a nightmare hole with water surounding the hole and a bunker on the right to the green sloping towards the water. Even pros would struggle to get par there. Practice facilities are superb, farways lush, greens fast and sanded. Only bunkers are with wet and heavy sand. Interesting but hard course to play due to water and strategically placed bunkers. At the time of play, many buggy paths were un der renovation, so not in use, but that understandable. Great clubhouse, drinks selection and food.

Mooi clubhuis, prima ontvangst. Buggy voorzien van water, tees en scorekaart. Baan was in geweldige staat, zeker de greens. Waren best snel maar super strak. Er wordt vooraf gewaarschuwd dat je veel ballen mee moet nemen omdat er veel water is op de 2de negen. Dit vond ik allemaal wat overdreven. De gemiddelde Polderbaan in Nederland heeft meer water in het spel. Super leuke baan maar chippen vanaf bermuda gras is toch anders als thuis. Verder heeft f de baan niet super mooie uitzichten of zo. Hij ligt midden in Vilamoura.
