The 18 holes Championship Course at Damme Golf & Country Club is a beautiful 18 hole course. The course through it's design proves to be a challenge for the better players, whilst enjoyable to the less talented golfer. The course demands a good strategy as you play between trees and water hazards, rewarding good shots whilst quickly punishing any mistakes. The 9 hole "President's Nine" designed by Belgian architect Bruno Steensels and opened in June 2014, has a feel of a Links course as you play through valleys between sand hills. Water hazards are present on all the holes and the course is very much a "risk and reward" course, tempting you to attempt shots that are on the limit of your capabilities. The 9 hole "Compact Course" is a short course measuring 1146 meters, an ideal course for our beginners, the less talented players and for the better players to improve their short game.

Championship Course - DammeDamme Golf club situates itself in a beautiful natural and peaceful environment not far from Bruges. The club house, pro-shop and friendly staff immediately make yourself at home. The championship course is challenging. Water hazards and trees are omni-present. Good strokes will be rewarded, bad strokes will get an immediate punishment. This is certainly true for the back 9 which are definitely more difficult. Despite the harsh weather conditions ( exceptional hot and dry weather for the last 6 weeks), the tee- boxes and greens were immaculate. The greens somewhat slower than I expected but still very well playable. The fairways were brownish and hard, which is kind of normal in these climatic conditions. This did not however diminish my appreciation for the course, au contraire. I do have to point out one ‘negative’ thing which is the price of both the greenfee and the buggy. We paid 115€ per greenfee plus 55€ for the buggy (which we took because of the high temperatures, the course otherwise is very walkable), and that is a bit too much. Anyway, Damme Golf is is very nice course andI Will certainly come back to play again in much nicer weather conditions

President's Nine - DammeChampionship Course - DammePrachtige baan. De laatste jaren mooie vooruitgang gemaakt in kwaliteit van de baan. Momenteel in topconditie met groene fairways, erg uitdagende rough, snelle greens. De back nine zeer uitdagend met grote waterpartijen. Gezellig clubhuis en bar.

Championship Course - DammeKing’s Prize Rare baan, met name de back 9 ga ik toch nog niet al te snel vrienden mee worden. Goede organisatie, warme ontvangst en dank aan de vrijwilligers en de club voor hun inzet. Greenfeeprijzen in België blijven hoog, Damme is hierin geen uitzondering. Oefenfaciliteiten wel goed in orde; grote putting en chipping green en grass practice! Eten was erg lekker.

Championship Course - DammeDamme golf&Country club championship course is vergevingsgezind. De baan stamt uit 1987 en is gelegen in een mooie natuurlijke omgeving. De waterpartijen geven een mooi beeld en straffen verkeerde beslissingen per direct af. De greens waren traag en minder goed in te schatten. Het clubhuis straalt Belgische Bourgondisme uit. Het was genieten.

9 holesThe 9 hole “President’s Nine” designed by Belgian architect Bruno Steensels and opened in June 2014, has a feel of a Links course as you play through valleys between sand hills. Water hazards are present on all the holes and the course is very much a “risk and reward” course, tempting you to attempt shots that are on the limit of your capabilities. The course measures 3204 meters for 9 holes and played twice is 6404 meters (7003 yards).
