Golfresort Haugschlag

Both courses are beautiful. The entire resort is located in a peaceful and quiet area. The Haugschlag course is sometimes more open, while the Waldviertel course is more enclosed by forests. Large rocks often protrude from the fairways, which creates an interesting effect. The second green at Haugschlag is interesting, with a rock behind it. Then, of course, there is the final short par 3, played on an island green near the clubhouse with a terrace. At the Waldviertel course, which I find more interesting, there is a similar par 3 on hole 13. The last hole is also difficult, a par 3 played uphill. Playing both courses in one day is an experience. Both courses are quite long from the yellow tees, about 6 km.

Zwei wunderschöne sehr ruhige Golfplätze im nördlichen Waldviertel - Natur pur. Sehr gutes Restaurant und Hotel.

Im Rahmen der Sommergolfwoche 2025 war ich erstmals 1 Woche Gast im Golfresort. Es war eine perfekte Kombination aus erstklassigem Golferlebnis, sehr komfortabler Unterkunft, vorbildlicher Organisation und einem überragenden Gastroteam, das neben den kulinarischen Highlights einen perfekten und auch schnellen Service bot, der an Schnelligkeit nur von den meisterhaft gepflegten Grüns der Plätze Haugschlag und Waldviertel getoppt wurde. Ich habe mich schon für nä. Jahr angemeldet bei der Abreise....

Wunderschöne archaische Landschaft, mit Granitsteinen auf den Fairways. Gepflegter Zustand, listige Grünspan.
