Overpriced for what it offers We played the Old Course, one of the 36 holes available. The course itself is well maintained, with particularly fast and excellent greens. The first nine holes are more challenging than the second nine, with several narrow passages requiring accurate shots. The highlight is definitely the 15th hole, a beautiful downhill par 3 with the green surrounded by water — a very memorable hole. However, at €300 for two players including one buggy, we found the experience extremely expensive. The practice facilities are nothing particularly special, and there was no course guide provided. This became quite frustrating during the round, as we regularly had to stop and figure out where to play. The hole information boards are also consistently positioned at the red tees, which is inconvenient when playing from the yellow tees. Overall, a well-maintained course with some beautiful and memorable holes, but at this price level we expected a considerably better overall experience.

Das sehr groß gestaltete Prosper Golf Resort Čeladná liegt in einem Talkessel der westlichen Beskiden Berge, eingerahmt von waldbewachsenen Bergen und Hügeln. Der Fernblick von allen Spielbahnen ist wundervoll. Das Resort ist Teil des sogenannten 55er Projektes und steht in Verbindung zum Golf & Ski Resort Ostravice, welches nur 15 min Autofahrt entfernt liegt. Umfangreiche Reit / Golf / Spa / Sport / Hotel - Angebote können dabei ausgewählt werden. Aktivurlaub in vielen Facetten. Auch für Nicht - Golfer. Besonders für Familien. Die Empfangsdame war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, die beste Runde auszuwählen. Für Tagesgäste steht die Anlage 7 Tage die Woche offen. Auch kurzfristige Anfragen werden angenommen und bestmöglich in den Spielbetrieb eingegliedert. Zwei vollwertige 18 Loch Master Plätze PAR 72 und umfangreiche Übungsanlagen stehen einer möglichen großen Golfgemeinschaft zur Verfügung. Das I - Tüpfelchen, eine Trackman Anlage, fehlt allerdings. Die Driving Range, weitläufig überdacht, ist voller Werbebanner gestellt. Es ist schon eine Herausforderung, den Ballflug bis zum Schluss zu verfolgen. Zahlreiche Netze sorgen für Sicherheit- und schränken den Blick in die Ferne ein. Weitere Übungsbereiche liegen verstreut, bisweilen sehr dicht an den Abschlägen und Grüns des new course. Zum Üben würde ich die Anlage eher nicht wählen. Čeladná Golf Resort war vor über 10 Jahren dreifacher Gastgeber der European Tour. Um dieses Erlebnis zu erfahren, muss man eine Mischung aus Old Course (front 9) und New Course (back 9) spielen. Ich konnte nur den new course spielen. Dieser auf hohem Niveau erbaute Platz bietet 5 Teeboxen mit 6641m bis 5117m. Riesige Grüns, meist > 20 X 40m eröffnen vielfältige Pin Position. 17 der 18 Grüns werden durch traditionelle Bunker in unterschiedlicher Form und Länge verteidigt. Pot Bunker hätten gut zum Design des New Course gepasst. Zahlreiche Gräben entwässern den Platz und sind dem klassischen schottischen Burn nachempfunden. Sie begleiten und kreuzen die Fairways, oft mäandernd als wahre Herausforderungen eingebunden. Zusammengefasst: ein sehr gelungener, anspruchsvoller Golfplatz, der vorausschauendes, taktisches Spiel erfordert. Nachteil; Die wenigen, aber nahen Real Estate Projekte schränken den Blick ins bergige Umland leider wieder ein. Netze und Asphaltstraßen machen das Naturerlebnis wieder klein. Die Qualität aller Details - Grüns, Bunker, Teeboxen, Fairways ist deutlich überdurchschnittlich. Das zieht stolze Preise nach sich. Gerne hätte ich das stolze Clubhaus und Restaurant besucht. Aber trotz high Season waren beide um 1930h, 90min vor Sonnenuntergang, geschlossen.

Golf Club Celadna offers two courses, the old and the new course. The old course is the better course, so if your time is limited play that one. The new course - especially the front nine - are a bit the same. The back nine are more interesting, with some changes in elevation and some interesting holes. The finishing hole is a difficult one where your drive has to be long to be able to reach the island green. Otherwise just go for the lay up and accept a bogey.

The old course is quite demanding with narrow passages and tricky greens. The course is quite diverse and pretty long as well. A big applause for the hole information. They provide a lot of valuable information about the green, the important distances of several hazards and the elevation.

We played the course in bad weather conditions (rain and snow), but it is amazing how the condition of the greens, the fairways and the tees were, especially considering it is still early in the season. The par 3 downhill with the island green is probably the hole people will remember.

The clubhouse is huge with a well-stocked proshop. There is a very nice drivingrange where you hit off the grass and good practice facilities. Friendly staff.

If you want to stay here, then the Teehouse is the place to go. Great modern rooms and located along the huge parking facilities of the golf club. There is also a high-end boutique hotel (hotel Miura) just along the new course.

Although this course a quite commercial, they do not have rental sets (we played with sets of the manager and a member). The course is now officially connected to Golf Club Ostravice on the other side of the hill.

We got to play Old Copurse in heavy rain so could not appreciate fully attractions of the back nine as the course got soaked. Old is a tough course with many opening shots into rather narrow landing spots with trees in play, uphill approaches, thick rough and tuckled pins. Several greens are multi-level, narrow and parallel to the fairways. Back nine is more difficult than front nine.

Greens, fairways and bunkers were just fine while tee boxes needed some rest from divots. We also teed off from wrong tees on 18th (New Course these were) as both tee boxes sit close to each other so deserve to be marked better.

Down and up par 4 12th is the toughest hole with very steep approach shot into green protected with bunkers at the back and to the left. Both bunkers were GIR, filled partially with soil and stones when we played which helped a bit to reduce score ;). Looks like the bunkers might be turned into green collectiolns areas which makes total sense as this hole is hard enough to avoid less skilled golfers blading bunkers shots just to find their balls stopping 100 meters down the slope.

Signature hole is beatufil par 3 15th with downhill shot into green protected by water. We liked also par 5 7th hole for its length (530 meters), downhill playability and tough to hit green.

Very good course. It's hard to get a good result, but a player of all abilities will do it. Very nice surroundings. Always well prepared. A bit expensive especially on weekends, but worth finding out.
