The Wee Braids is a 9-hole parkland course situated next to the Braid Hills Golf Course, established in 2004 to introduce children and young people to golf. Although designed to be an inviting introduction for beginners, the course is also a fun, quick test for an experienced golfer with sloping fairways and gorse throughout. The course offers impressive views across the city and is open from March to November. During the winter months you can tackle our Braids Winter Course, which is a combination of holes from the Braid Hills and Wee Braids courses.

Wee Braids Golf CourseWee Braids is a municipal Edinburgh 9 hole course with some nice holes and magnificent views across Edinburgh and over the Firth ion Forth to Fife. It’s a tricky test and a fun course to play. It’s let down by the poor facilities - parking is a joke and the clubhouse is a hut. But at £14 per round, you get what you pays for!

Wee Braids Golf CourseMy husband and I only started playing golf a couple of years ago we love it.
Both bought a set of 2nd hand clubs with bags so would LOVE a new one 😂
Our handicaps are around 18 for husband and 20 for me.
We love wee Braids for a quick 9 holes. Very nice course and scenery. Well maintained. Would highly recommend it.

Wee Braids Golf CourseEen prima golfbaan, als je tussendoor een rondje wilt lopen. We wilden op Braids Hills lopen, alleen het is een zeer gewilde golfcourse. Dus als alternatief werd Wee Braids Golf Course aangeboden. 9 holes gelopen, niet al te moeilijk doch uitdagend. We werden goed ontvangen en erg vriendelijk personeel. Er was wel een practice area, alleen dat werd ons niet verteld. Geen probleem, maar voor volgende keer wel handig om te weten.
