Golf Klub Alpinka Kosice

A well maintained 9 holes golf course, nestled in the woods. The course is relatively short (Par 68, featuring three Par 3’s and one Par 5), yet offers a rewarding players experience with narrow but manageable fairways. Some holes run parallel. We played two rounds of 9 holes, with a relaxed lunch break on the terrace in between. The staff were very welcoming and attentive.

A short nine-hole course less than 10 minutes' drive from the center of Košice. Of the five pairs, only one is longer than 300 meters. The course is often very narrow. There is occasionally a stream. I think 3 to 4 clubs are sufficient. On the positive side, the course is surrounded by forests in beautiful countryside and, above all, quiet. The modern clubhouse is pleasant.

A small but nice 9-hole course on the outskirts of Košice, in a small valley. Interesting layout, well maintained, pleasant surroundings. It is quite tight in places, and there is a problem with some holes crossing each other (they are played against each other in a narrow space). The price is quite high considering what the place has to offer, but there are few options in eastern Slovakia. The club seems to have its clientele, and people feel comfortable here. But I only visited once, a year ago.
