Another great golf course which sits on the English Welsh borders. Kington is the highest 18 hole golf course in England at 1284 feet above sea level, at its highest point. The beauty of Kington is most of the climbing is done by car as you snake your way up the clubhouse.

Kington Golf Club
I have written a longer piece on the joys of Kington elsewhere so I shall keep this review brief but first off might I point out to all reviewers that the architect who designed the course that opened in 1925 is Cecil Key Hutchison not Hutchinson. Thank you.

Shendish Manor Hotel & Golf Course
During a business trip, i had the chance to play Shendish Manor. As a guest of the hotel, i played some holes in the evening and the rest of the course early morning. The staff was very friendly.
