Afandou Golf Course

If only there would be water. Interesting par 73 golf course which is flat but still enough challenge. Nice views to sea and surrounding hills. Extremely good service and gf /rental set / trolley with the price of 69€ is great when considering that this is the only course in the island. But when there is no water, there is very little grass. Worth to visit with the right attitude.

Ce golf a du potentiel : site, vue sur mer, dessin, variété des trous.

Par contre il est dans un très mauvais état- Il fait très chaud à Rhodes, le soleil brille, il ne pleut pas souvent, le vent est présent - l'arrosage est très insuffisant, il n'y a presque pas d'herbe verte sur les fairways, les greens souffrent - le local d'accueil est vétuste.

Le rare personnel est bien sympathique.

Il y a, parait t'il, un projet d'hôtel de le luxe et de golf. Ce serait bien...

Been there with my wife last weekend, course is dry, needs a lot of water. Very challenging course, some very difficult holes, some easy. Overall, a very nice experience! Prices a bit high but its Rhodes so take it or leave it. Course is playable, just go for the fun. The young man on the reception was friendly and helpful.

Played there last week, also played couple of years ago. The course is way better that it used to be, greens are greens (!) and the rest fairways are in a very good condition. Lovely golf course, expert design, maintenance could be way better but this year everything comes back to normal. Staff is friendly and welcoming!

Mooi uitzicht op de zee en de bergen vanop de golfbaan. Een paar uitdagende holes, en een grote club. De greens waren echter totaal niet onderhouden. Het was gemakkelijker om vanop de green te chippen dan te putten. Fairways waren heel droog en verhard. Tee boxen niet goed onderhouden. Een leuke ervaring om op Rhodos te gaan golfen, maar het is niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Er is geen mogelijkheid om op te warmen op een driving range of puttinggreen.
