Golf Club de Mormal

Even with the draught the course was beautiful and nice to play. Challenging and interesting for all levels. Atmosphere is good and generally people are nice and welcoming.

Nice no-nonsense straightforward golf course, no real challenges but lovely to play. Some water hazards can pop up as a not-so-nice surprise if you don’t look at the setting before hitting the ball. A nearby shooting range could probably disturb some players in their game but once you stop paying attention to it, it shouldn’t really affect your shots Fairways were okay given the recent heatwave and therefore the prudent maintenance, greens were super, tee-boxes could have been better. The practice facilities are more than okay, a driving range with individual tracking system , big putting green and separate bunker and chipping green. The newly renovated clubhouse/bar/restaurant looks great with a nice large terrace and combines well with the Pro-shop area. One minor point: once lunch hours have passed, the kitchen is closed so no soup or ‘petite carte’ with warm/cold snacks which are normally very welcome after having played 18 holes.

Fun and score-able course. Hosted the 4th division of CdFpE, well organised. Excellent sandwiched and the free water bottles at the turn were superb! Thanks Adam and team!

Entertaining layout, great condition ! Extremely good reception and restaurant.

Très beau parcours en plein cœur du paysage avesnois, aucun bruit à part celui des oiseaux. La meilleure période pour y aller c’est au printemps où les centaines d’arbres fruitiers sont en fleur et offrent de magnifiques images.
