Golf-Club Bergisch Land

Trotz des heißen und trockenen Sommers fanden wird einen sehr gut gepflegten Platz mit top Grüns vor. Das Besonderes ist die hochinteressante Gestaltung des bereits 1928 angelegten Platzes. Niemals langweilig, jede Bahn spannend und anspruchsvoll, aber immer fair mit fantastischen Blicken in die bergige Landschaft mit sehr viel altem Laubwaldbestand. Ein echtes Highlight und jederzeit zu empfehlen. Ich werde hier sicherlich öfter spielen.

Wat een pech. De hele dag regen en op deze prachtige baan met dit weer spelen valt niet mee.

De baan is fantastisch aangelegd in een heuvelachtig landschap, maar helaas is de ondergrond klei. En aangezien er weinig vlakke delen zijn is het 1 grote glijbaan als het veel regent. Maar toch kom je na je rondje met een glimlach terug. Zo mooi zijn de holes aangelegd. Niet zo maar rammen omdat de fairways een kilometer breed zijn, maar zoek de mogelijkheden en speel verstandig. We gaan zeker in het voorjaar nog een keer de uitdaging aan om deze baan met mooi weer te spelen.

De oefenfaciliteiten zijn prima, waarbij de drivingrange bij het clubhuis aan de korte kant is. Het clubhuis heeft weinig uitstraling, maar zoals altijd in Duitsland smaakt het biertje voortreffelijk.

The Bergisch Land Golfclub is already a 90 year old club with English influence during the past. The clubhouse is closed on Monday but playable if you want. he Practice facilities are well maintained and available and recommended to check the speed of the greens. The course is also designed in a the hills of the Bergisch Land but possible to play the course with a trolley. The course is due to all the undulation not easy and slope rating of 139 gives that indication. Further be aware of water in front of the greens on hole 3,7 9 16,17,18. Further many bunkers will also try to increase your number of strokes. Maintenance of the course is fine and also here difficult times due to the dry weather.

Nice terrace with views on the course which is always nice after the game and food/drinks serves by friendly staff.
