De Melia Villaitana Golf Club beschikt over twee banen, ontworpen door Jack Nicklaus. Villaitana Levante (Championship)Very bad experience. Very crowded, we needed 5h35 to play Levante course. Fairways very dry. It‘s one of the more expensive in the surrounding aera.

Villaitana Poniente (Executive)Par 3/4 baan gespeeld. Is behoorlijk uitdagend bij verschillende holes. We zijn aangesloten bij een andere flight waardoor alles goed doorliep. Als je niet de goede richting aanhoudt verdwijnt je bal in een afgrond. Erg leuk om te spelen waarbij de techniek extra belangrijk is. De greens waren vaak lastig te lezen. Er zijn enorm veel bunkers die vaak “niet te missen zijn” Discipline om pitch Marks te repareren en bunkers aan te harken was onvoldoende aanwezig. Desondanks een prettige 18 holes gelopen.

It was fun in its ability to snaffle errant balls from even the best but over priced and not a golf course I would recommend to anyone except groups of happy drunks

Villaitana Poniente (Executive)Villaitana Levante (Championship)Mooi golf complex, beide banen zijn uitstekend onderhouden Levante is goed lopend te doen. En Poniente moet wel in een buggy ervaren. Jammer dat de golfers op beide golfbanen weinig tot geen bunkers harken en of pitchmarks herstellen. Bar is matig, eten is niet echt van niveau.

Villaitana Poniente (Executive)
18 holesDe par 62 golfbaan Poniente, 3.858 meter lang, is geïntegreerd in de afdaling van een prachtige vallei van mediterrane pijnbomen met uitzicht op de zee en de bergen. Ontworpen door verschillende par 3 en par 4, is dit een kortere baan (ongeveer 3 uur en een half) hoewel het zeker spannender is. Het vereist een grotere beheersing van de korte ijzers en is zeer veeleisend voor de lage handicap speler, hoewel alle holes alternatieven bieden voor de gemiddelde en hoge handicap spelers.
