Perfect parkland course. Incredible maintenance for winter season. Fairway very dry during a rainy day. Hospitality of proshop was at course level (perfect). A real Ryder Cup experience.

Ryder Cup course gespeeld met een Caddy. Absoluut de moeite waard. Weet exact hoe en waar te slaan. En verteld ook nog eens leuke verhalen over de baan en de Ryder Cup. Baan perfect bijgehouden. Tijdens onze ronde waren er 2 holes in onderhoud waardoor ze iets korter waren. De baan straalt echt historie uit en is omringd met een en al groen. Perfecte fairways en greens… Plus

Played The Ryder Course early in July and was very impressive, I play this track at least once a year and it’s always in great condition, the greenkeepers deserve a lot of credit. It plays long from the Whites and the rough eats up the golf ball. Greens were perfect, maybe needed another cut to speed them up a bit as I love them fast! One of the best playable championship golf courses, even for higher handicappers. We hired a caddy which was well worth the money just for his stories alone!

Superb golf courses in particular the Palmer which hosted the Ryder Cup in 2006. I have played both courses many times. The snurfit is a solid gikf course also but I strongly recommend the Palmer. 18 very good holes with plenty water and tough finish with 16th and 17th being played with River Liffey making or breaking the round. De K-Club heeft twee banen. De Palmer Course (Ryder Cup) en de Smurfit Course (van andere Europese wedstrijden). Gespeeld de Smurfit Course. Een prachtige en verrassende "Inland Links" baan. Dat Inland Links is misschien niet helemaal de juiste benaming. De baan is glooiend en heeft trekjes van een Links baan maar is toch vooral een Amerikaans ontwerp. Brede fairways en g… Plus

Wenn man in Irland ist, sollte man diesen schönen Platz unbedingt spielen.

Bij het passeren van de ingang van het complex begint de voorpret al. Prachtige en enorm ruime oefenfaciliteiten, een schitterend hotel en meer dan voldoende parkeerplaatsen. Vanaf de eerste tee is het genieten. Elke hole is prachtig met als hoogtepunten hole 4 en 16. En passant sloeg mijn flightgenoot een hole in one op hole 3.

Sehr gepflegter Platz mit einigen anspruchsvollen Löchern. Wir haben im Clubhaus nur etwas getrunken und Sandwiches zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Ich würde den Ryder Cup Course sofort wieder spielen.

Sehr schöner gepflegter Parkland Course. Die letzten Löcher sind fantastisch, aber schwer zu spielen. Das Clubhaus passt nicht wirklich zur gesamten Anlage und macht den Gesamteindruck leider etwas schlechter. Das Essen dort war auch nicht gut!

Any Ryder Cup course is a temple, and one should pay respect to those shrines. In this aspect, it is a treat just being here, gazing at the memorabilia of RC 2006 and the 18,5/9,5 European sweep. High expectations of this former Ryder club venue when you drive up the Kildare estate. Smurfit owner and golf enthusiast has build his own wonderland in Ireland with golf courses, spas, hotels and villas for the rich and famous. Shabby clubhouse, unfriendly restaurant staff, the guest changing rooms had overflowing rubbish bins (before and after the round), no soap and the toilet door didn't close. We were sent off from tee 10, then tee 1 had three flights waiting to start when we got there. The course itself was pleasant enough, but the bunkers were in bad condition (very rough edges). El K club ya no es lo que era. Me hospedé y jugué ambos campos en junio 2009, y hace unos días he vuelto, esta vez solo para jugar en el Palmer Ryder Cup Course. The course looks and feels great. It is not the most challenging in Europe but has some history from the 2006 Ryder Cup which was hosted there.

Un joli tracé pour les 2 parcours, mais un golf très pelé et un fairways pas à la hauteur du prix. 2 parcours très différents, un links (le smurfit) un jardin pour le Palmer. De beaux greens très longs, et beaucoup d’eau sur le Palmer. Dommage que le service ne soit pas à la hauteur du Greenfee (270€ pour les 2 parcours, en résidant à l’hotel).

Onlangs gespeeld op deze prachtige baan. Onderhoud was meer dan uitstekend en de layout van de baan is geweldig. We hadden ook nog het geluk dat we in Ierland speelde met prachtig weer, dat is volgens mij niet altijd het geval. Na de 18e hole begon de gastvrijheid al op de green.
