Excellent course. On my first visit (in an open competition a few years ago) i found it super tough at 6,890 yards, par 71, with many par fours being well over 400 yards... playing with friends from tees of the day more recently it was certainly more playable for someone with slightly limited length off the tee. Played Moortown in an Open event with 3 mates. Very impressed from the minute we arrived with the welcome in the Pro shop and the excellent clubhouse. Great practice facilities before we started our round. As with a number of courses there has been a significant amount of trees removed across the course and we thought it looked great.
