There are a lot of preparations for the Scottish Open, therefore several green bunkers are GUR and also designated landing areas GUR, but overall a tremendous golf course.

I'm a member so somewhat biased, but the golf course has been in stunning condition all year, probably the best overall condition in it's 15 year history. Amazing estate looks like there course is there a lot longer then 14 years. Grest service and maintenance and excellent design by Tom Doak, probably the most knowledgeable US architect on classic (links) courses. Tom Doak's masterpiece is as tough a test as you'll find in Scotland, with some spectacular and challenging long par 4s as well as a good mix of interesting and varied length par 5s and 3s. Amazing golf course with great layout, beautiful holes and spectacular views. The course was in excellent shape. Some holes are just breathtaking. Hard to say which one is the best. Nice clubhouse with good food. Very good pro-shop and great practice facilities. One of the best golf courses I have played. A must play if you have a chance!
