Golf Pirkkala

Our 3rd golf stop on ROCK GOLF tour was Pirkkala. We almost cancel this visit, since we were running short on time, weather forecast was showing that it might be pouring, but oh boy, Im glad we did not. We had warm introduction to course by manager Konsta. He showed me around, we talked about the finish golf and etc. Anyway, this course is huge, big parking lots where we easily fit our RV. Huge and very modern clubhouse, also with new terrace overlooking 18th and 9th green. No need to mention that course were packed since early morning. Pity I could not fly m y drone cause we were in airport protection zone. Anyway tried to took as many nice photos with my phone as possible. Quick warm up at the driving range next to clubhouse and we are off the 10th tee cause today they start from 10th. I would like to mention that at this course buggy might be worth but still easy to walk, you can also try special electric bike. I would mention that both loops front and back are equally nice and great to play. Back nine starts with nice 2 holes next to each other with not flat fairways, do not expect to stay flat if you are not accurate. Course is not tough but does not give a good score without accuracy. Love the blind shot on 14th hole and as well shot from 13th tee box. 18th hole is just awesome par5. As we start on back we still have front to play. Front open with beautiful par 4 dogleg left, then nice short par 3 and it goes on and on. Passing hole 6 we have seen that they are working on another 9 holes so we will definitely need to come back to visit this beautiful course. I would like to highlight quality of this course, especially greens they were nice without bad spots rolling nicely. It's just unbelievable how great job is done there with such a short season. After game we used the locker rooms spend some time in great sauna and grabbed lunch and relaxed on great terrace with look at 9th and 18th greens. Have to say I love Finnish golf courses

This is a beautiful course in Finland! We really enjoyed this walk and game, we were so lucky to be here. Thanks for the hospitality! I really need to tell everybody, who likes to go to Finland for try finish golf courses - Go to Pirkkala first! Every hole on the course is unique, wide fairways, trees. I like its design.

Very nice golf course, big contrast between the front (short and relatively easy) and the back 9, which is quite long and challenging.

Greens are fantastic and would take a while to get used to.

Golf Pirkkala is great golf course designed by Kosti Kuronen. Very good clubhouse and practise areas. Lot of room to train your short game and puts. 18 hole course has some really long holes and challenging greens.

Gezellig baan waar alles keurig verzorgd is. Onderhoud meer dan uitstekend. Vergevingsgezinde baan mede omdat de fairways breed zijn. Mooie hoogte verschillen maar niet te extreem. Zeker een baan om vaker te spelen. Vlak bij de mooie provincie stad Tampere en uiteraard de Finse meren. Prijs kwaliteit meer dan prima.
