Didn’t have a booking and wanted to play 3 rounds in a day so turned up at the crack of dawn (6:45am) with the pro shop already open and they let me get started immediately. As you can imagine the round was pretty quick for the front 9 but as people filled the course on the back 9 it slowed down a bit but everyone was very courteous and let me play through without any fus… Mehr

Knysna is always nice to play. Not as difficult as its populair neighbours but still a challenge.

Played Knysna again and must admitthat the amount of Egyptian Goose has increased too Much. Again many young birds on top of the existing ones is too much and the staff is unable to clean teebox, fairways, rough and greens to let People play without getting all the Shi.. on your shoes and trolley. Vlakke golfbaan in een prachtig gebied. Prima te belopen. Het onderhoud is matig, maar de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is goed.

Also in Covid-19 times you noticed that it is very quiet on the course. The maintenance is good and the greenkeepers are more efficient. The course is still nice to play with long par 5, s. Due to many tidal pools and inlets with magnificent indigenous trees the holes need course management otherwise the ball is wet. The par 3 hole 8 is a challenge when it is windy and wa… Mehr

Knysna is, in my opinion, one of the best clubs to visit, play and enjoy the surroundings, hospitality, great atmosphere. At first glance it looks a simple, flat course that has no challenges. But don't be deceived. Being at sea level it plays long and with the greens raised from the fairways can be very tricky. A really enjoyable place to visit.

Club de membres avec beaucoup de tenue. Le Knysna golf est un club "à l'ancienne" tranquille et pas "tape à l'oeil" comme peuvent l'être des golfs tout proches. L'ambiance est sympathique et sans chichi. A l'arrivée surprise agréable en découvrant le bâtiment où se trouvent le proshop, la "halfway house" et le clubhouse. Course sans la possibilité de s'échauffer: pas de practice Terrain très plat, souvent l'eau est en jeu. C'est au bord de la route et d'un marais/lagune plat à perte de vue. C'est vrai que cela reste un parcours hors des sur mesure actuels.

Leuke vlakke golfbaan met uitdagende holes met waterpartijen. Fairways zijn redelijk droog en hard. Greens zijn mooi dicht en snel. Clubhuis is redelijk nieuw, maar van binnen niet zo gezellig.

vlakke afwisselende baan. Alleen hole 1 t/m 9 gespeeld. lag er prima bij en prettig om te spelen. Ook water in het spel op meerdere holes. De Callaway huurclubs waren gloednieuw en van het betere model. Fijn mee kunnen spelen.

Vlak is het steekwoord, wel hier en daar water. Een golfbaan die ruim van opzet is en prettig om te spelen wanneer je niet op een geaccidenteerd terrein wilt spelen. Er zijn daarom weinig carts en die dus tijdig reserveren indien nodig. Fraai clubhuis en fijn terras maar geen lunch gerechten.

Apprécions toujours de revenir sur ce beau parcours dans un joli cadre. Excellent accueil Très fréquenté.

The Knysna golf club is a real member course this compared to the other 2 golf-courses in Knysna which are resort courses and much more expensive. Also Knysna is easy the walk the course. It is quite flat but this will not say it is easy. The course and slope rating are higher than many course in the neighborhood. There is no practice range but putting/chipping available.… Mehr

Leuke golfbaan om te spelen. Makkelijk te lopen doordat het vlak os. In droge periodes zijn de fairways niet optimaal maar ik er speelde zag het er goed uit.

Knysna is a decent community course. It plays relatively long and water comes into play on several holes. A bit windy in Winter (December/January), but a good value for money course overall. Staff is very nice and strives to ensure you have a good time.

In de eerste twee weken 5 x deze baan gespeeld. Door de 12-rittenkaart aantrekkelijke prijs,400 rand/ronde. Prachtige parkbaan met moeilijke snelle greens, maar dat kan ook komen doordat er net een grote nationale wedstrijd was geweest. Halfway house de beste in de regio en personeel super aardig. Benjamin is de altijd aardige en relaxte starter! Natuurlijk is de baan nie… Mehr

Greens en ontvangst goed zeer vriendelijk. Stond wel veel water op de baan.
