Wellsford Golf Club

Please change the photo as there is no sea views from this course. Great course and lovely flowing hills and some interesting drain, ponds and bunkers makes for a great game.

If you are into classic Kiwi style country courses, this is your typical example.

Fun lay-out, and a good walk with some great country views.

Don't expect all the fancy stuff you know of European golf clubs. This is golf available for everybody.

So limited resources mean limited facilities and services, but great value for money (20NZD/round).

My favourite hole is the Par 5 #13 with its super tee-shot deep down into the valley.

The (mostly volunteers) do a good job trying to keep the course in good conditions (if Winter is wet, it can be tough).
