Club house austère, et fermé!

Sehr schön gelegen mit vielen schönen Ausblicken auf das Meer. Der Platz ist gut gepflegt, ultraschnelle Greens. Rein golferisch eher etwas langweilig, viele Löcher ähneln einander sehr.

The Howick GC located in the suburb of Buckland has made a remarkable transformation from wasteland to one of the most scenic golf courses in Auckland on the East coast of the North Island. The 18th hole links course with fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean is a short course as no more land was available. Therefore a driving range is not available. This 5400m for man is a par 69 But that will no tell you it is easy. There are some water hazards but not that many bunkers. But the undulated fairways and the wind from the ocean make sure that club selection is key, and not the driver. Further the views of Halfmoon Bay, Farm cove and Botany are spectacular when you are here for the 1st time. Greenfee modest with NZ$ 50 and staff and members very helpful and do their upmost to let you enjoy your round.

Really recommended when visiting North Island as a golf player to play around.
