Yas Acres Golf & Country Club

One of the best 9 hole layouts I’ve played, great practice facilities, fantastic condition. Would be nice to have different tees for the two nines when playing 18 holes.

I played Yas Acres twice during my stopovers at Abu Dhabi Airport. Another time, I accompanied my children playing. The club is 10-15 mins driving distance from the Airport and 35 mins from downtown Abu Dhabi. Parking area has ample space and is just in front of the bag drop area. Thus, you can park your car and head to golf quickly I made my bookings on Viya App and everything went very smooth at Golf Reception and with Caddy Master. I very rarely play with rental golf clubs. Here at Yas Acres, I had to rent and the clubs were in very good shape. The restaurant and changing rooms are not luxury but comfortable and clean. The Pro Shop was not available, probably under renovation. The buggy was in great condition. Driving Range and two chipping greens are placed over a generous area and located perfectly on the way from Clubhouse to the 1st tee. There is one halfway caffe which you pass by after 1st hole and 4th hole. The course is floodlit and once the lights are on they are very efficient. In a nutshell, everything at Yas Acres is well maintained and placed very very efficiently in a way that makes it easy for golfers. The course is also is very well maintained and greens and tee boxes are in very good condition. Fairways are quite bouncy. I could not believe the distances I made with my relatively slow middle age swing. However, the course is a bit straight forward. Most holes have very wide fairways and is played straight ahead. Short Par-4 @ Hole 2 is a bit challenging when they put flag between the bunker in front and water around the green. 4th hole is the most challenging due to green being elevated from all sides. Overall, I can say the Yas Acres is beyond what you would expect a 9-holes club would be.

Campo un po' isolato nella zona di Yas con tante villette in costruzione intorno. In corso anche la ristrutturazione della club house e del pro-shop. Campo praticamente solo per noi con buche divertenti e ben tenute. Green ondulati ed ampi.

Sehr schön gepflegter Platz, kann absolut mit der Region mithalten und ist etwas günstiger.

Auch mit Wasserhindernissen.
