Royal Greens Golf Course and Country Club

Got a chance to play Royal Greens in May ‘23. It was a wonderful experience. Teed off at 8:00 AM and played 18 holes in 2.5 hours. The course was in impeccable condition. The club house was beautiful and the staff were as friendly as could be. They were happy to host us as Americans visiting the country and their venue. If you’re ever in Jeddah and gave a chance to play, I highly recommend it. We rented clubs and Eve though I’m left handed, they had a very nice set available. I have a 9.7 index and shot an 85 from the 6,000 yd tees.

Course is amazing, was in top condition when I played.. clubhouse looks like a palace and the practises are world class! Very excited to get back there.

Saudi Ladies Open, (LET) is played in this venue this week of November 2020.

The course is in excellent conditions. Greens are rolling on point. We are not sure if the grass is either paspalum vaginatum or maybe soisha. There are some areas that seem like Bermuda, but overall it’s a short and strong grass that looks quite green in the middle of the dessert.

We are staying at the Views Hotel - 10 minutes away from the course. On point! Great gastronomy and affordable price.

The course is one hour away from Jeddah airport and there is not much around other than the biggest dessert in the world- but the area definitely looks promising!

We enjoyed an unforgettable sunrise over the dessert and a breathtaking sunset over the Red Sea. Pure clear water... outstanding!

The course is quite flat overall even though you will barely find flat lies - greens are bumpy and run smoothly. The bunkers are on point and the short practice facility is to die for!

Love the fountains in the entrance - quite charmy and welcoming!

The deco inside the clubhouse is quite unique! Love the amount of light and the beautiful paintings in the wall. This week we have amazing players competing here such as Marta Martin, Sanz sisters, Luna Sobrón, Natasha Fear... among others from Spain. And some of the top of the world such as Carly Booth, Anna Nordqvist.., quite interesting field!
