The Earls course was stunning. It is very long at over 6,000 meters and I think the second longest course I’ve ever played. It’s not hugely open either, there’s tree lines down a lot of the fairways and surrounding the greens. If you miss the fairway there was generally quite thick rough so overall it was quite a solid test.
There are loads of changes in elevation with undulating fairways and raised, multi-tiered greens. Some of which had 3 levels to them. The course is walkable but I’d potentially get a cart next time as walking that distance zig-zagging across fairways was quite a workout. It was really well kept, the fairways and greens in really good condition.
The practice facilities were pretty good, there’s a driving range there and a big putting green. I think we played for about £40 which was great value for what was a really good course. Definitely keen to come back and play the Kings Course in the future.

Two very good courses in great condition. Hotel was good and food was great. Due to COVID-19 I feel the experience was let down slightly.

We played the King’s course on a very cold day at the end of November 2017 in a Texas Scramble Competition. The course was in good condition given the time of year and the holes and layout caused plenty of interest. I plan to return and play again when the weather is warmer because it is a good and well designed ‘track’. My main criticism is the course is very open and quite muddy built as it is on former farmland. The Clubhouse was good and staff welcoming even if the food offering for a largish party was just average.

The Earls Course gespeeld (helaas kan ik dit in deze beoordeling hierboven niet goed kwijt. The Kings is namelijk de andere 'championship course').

General impression
Courses at The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club
Castle Course
Perfect for beginners and those wanting to practice their short game, the 9-hole Castle Course boasts perfectly manicured greens, tees and fairways. Each hole is a different challenge with holes ranging from 90 to over 200 yards.
Kings Course
This scenic American-style 18-hole parkland course offers wide fairways, large undulating greens protected by strategically placed bunkers and plenty of lakes and water hazards to test your skills. An exciting style course that requires you to use your brain more than your brawn. Enjoyable for all levels of golfer. Slightly shorter than Earls (6,535 yards from the yellows, 6,864 yards from the whites), the Kings Course is more open in nature, with wider fairways protected by more water and lakes. The strengths of The Kings course can be summarised in two themes - the par 3s, and the finishing stretch.
Earls Course
This beautiful 18-hole course uses water features and tree lined fairways to test golfers of all abilities - a fantastic test of golf with lots of tight driving holes. With tricky to read greens, great woodland holes and range of water hazards to contend with, the Earls Course offers an all-round championship golf experience. Good course management is the key if you want to shoot the low score you desire.
