Linkse topbaan. Dit is pas genieten van een echte links golfbaan. Schitterende fairways, perfecte greens, zeer uitdagend met steeds de harde Westenwind (meestal toch). Ondanks de dure greenfees zeker eens te doen voor een ongelofelijke beleving. Tip hole 16: verkozen tot 1 van de mooiste holes in Engeland. Top!

Zeer spectaculaire baan. Onderhoud, ligging, uitzicht op zee, de 1e negen hebben alles wat je maar kan wensen. 2e negen liggen naast de 1e negen terug naar het clubhuis en iets meer landinwaarts. Veelal hebben de 2e negen wind tegen, net als vandaag. Dan is het ineens een beest van een baan. Echt een aanrader.

A true gem, and my favorite on the Kent Coast. Endlessly challenging with all the humps and rolls in the fairways... wickely tough bunkers and super undulating greens that really challenge the short game. Just pure links golf fun at this best, and the club is very receptive and friendly. And don't pass by the halfway house without getting a sausage and a drink! Just a joy… More

Hormis les greens légèrement carottés et sablés, tout était parfait. Fairways ondulés, green tordus, entretien du parcours nickel, et bien sûr, avec un bon gros vent de bord de mer! Joué en février et pas un gramme de boue sur nous, c'est appréciable.

Super divertido! Los greens parecen skateparks! Campo duro pero muy divertido. Los greens un pico lentos pero regulares. Realmente vale la pena jugarlo.

Royal Cinque Ports makes the very most of what appears to be a relatively small plot of land on the Kent coast. It provides links golf at its very best with its carpet-like fairways ascending and descending wildly. This is a fine and pretty long links course. It was in very good condition when I played, especially the greens, which are often well protected and undulating. I chose to play from the yellow tees (6600 yards) and so some of the carries and blind fairway shots were a test. The cost is high but I am glad I played it and hope that I can remember some of the challenges next … More

Very good, if expensive, links course. Well prepared and laid out. Clear directions, lovely fairways, splendid greens.

Royal Cinque Ports est. 1892 is also a course with a lot of traditions, just like it's next door neighbour Royal St. Georges. Deze baan behoort bij de absolute top qua linkscourses in Groot Brittannië. Uitstekend onderhouden baan met zeer uitdagende holes.

Het is dat de toegangsweg smal is en weinig verkeer aan kan, anders zou Royal Cinque Ports, of Deal zoals de meeste Engelsen hem noemen, ongetwijfeld op de lijst van banen staan waar The Open kan worden gespeeld. En gammel klassisk links bane og med de gamle dyder. Ville man spille i shorts så skulle man have lange strømer på op til knæene. For mange blinde teeslag hvor man skal kende banen for at vide hvor der er plads. Gode greens.

A true links with all the british feeling I wanted to play since I first heard about it. The whole experience is really worth, great course and magnificent club house.

A lovely old links course and a club where tradition is taken seriously without being overbearing. Probably the least well-known of three great courses on this stretch of the Kent coast, with Prince's and St George's up the road more high profile nowadays. We speelden deze baan als gast met een bevriende Belg die hier ook lid is. Qua greenfee is het dan echt goedkoop,35 pond. Als je dan kijkt wat je krijgt, is het gewoon outstanding. Hands down the best links course I've played. Magnificent layout, stunning sea views and just perfect maintenance. We had a lot of rain before teeing off, but the course held perfectly.
