Aldenham Golf Club

It’s not Aldenham’s fault that it’s just off the M25 but a three hour drive through several traffic jams did not endear me to the club on arrival. Fortunately the day got much better from then on. My first visit to the course and must say was pleasantly surprised. Great setting in a quaint village area, very warm welcome from the club as part of a society day. I was staying near this club. Went there for a round. Nice course. Park. Not to difficult but challenging enough for my handicap (13). Nice pro shop. Very hospitable. Played 9 holes alone and second nine with a member. I had a great time. Prepare for very fast greens. I think 9 or 10 on the stimp!
