Great to revisit Hoylake and this was the first time i have played the course since the changes have been made. As always the course was presented in great condition and whilst the greens had been seeded and sanded they ran very true and quick for this time of year. The new 15th is an excellent Par 3, played into the wind with the sea as a backdrop and what's looks like a very small landing area from the tee box. This will be no 17 for the Open and will certainly add some extra focus for the Pro's as they are nearing the end of their round. Clubhouse atmosphere is very welcoming, and loads of memorabilia to look at if you like golf history. if you get the chance to play here, take it.
