About Delamere Forest Golf Club
Delamere Forest Golf Club, established in 1910 and designed by the renowned architect Herbert Fowler, is widely regarded as one of England's finest classic heathland golf courses. The present ranking of the club by the Top 100 Golf Courses as the finest inland course in Cheshire and 44th in England is well earned. Delamere is also defined as a 'hidden gem' right in the heart of the Cheshire countryside but with easy access. Heather and gorse are sprinkled across its rolling fairways, crowned by hard, subtle greens that are characteristic of the early designs of Fowler. As a result, the course provides both visitors and members a reasonable yet intense challenge.

Played Delamere Forest GC for the first time last week, and WOW! Absolutely outstanding, a lot of work has gone on over the winter, looks like a lot of gorse removal, I think?
